Concept for a modular typeface developed together with Ian Scheufler.
The initial font was made up of 3 shapes, reused in each letterform: a line, a dot and an arch. Constructing every letter with these shapes, like one would with wooden building blocks, yielded playful forms full of character. It also allowed to create a new font style very quickly – the modular nature of the design meant we could edit only the basic 3 shapes, and see all the letters change.
